Some years ago, he became fond of the mountains of Trentino Alto-Adige, and all the Alps in general, where he performs alpinism, trekking, trail running, MTB, and ski-alp.
He frequently participates to ultra-trail races, as the Trail Alto Garda or the Dolomiti di Brenta Trail: many kilometers of length, and thousands of meters up and down!
By means of the web, he tries to spread the concept of organ donation and transplantation, being in the first person a happily bearer.

I've been a sports fan since I was a kid. Lover of various sports ranging from swimming to skiing, from mountain biking to windsurfing and many others.
In recent years, however, the mountain and all its facets have intrigued and interested me more and more, becoming one of the sports that I love most.
The panoramic views, the effort, the company and the solitude along the paths are the aspects that satisfy me most and that make me desire to continue exploring this world made of nature and limits.

He was fond of trekking, alpinism and ski-alp, you could find him very often in the mountains of Triveneto, but also more to the west, to climb the highest peaks in the Western Alps.
It was not unusual to see him across the border, in the nearby mountains of Switzerland or Austria, but also in the far north of Europe, for some long and lonely adventure.
Either alone, or with his wife or friends, but always carrying a good camera with him, to capture and preserve the best moments of his journeys.
Sadly, he has left us in August 2018, due to a fatal accident on the Sella Group. We will miss him very much, both as a friend and a climbing partner.

He is particular fond of the Dolomites, of which he greatly appreciates the environment, the rock and the views, without forgetting that variety is the spice of the world, and the mountain is no exception.
