The winners of the Prize Montagnav(v)entura 16-26 are Barbara Marzano from Turin with Neve. Bianca, neve for the category humour, Manuela Pomari from Velo Veronese (VR) with Lessinia for the category t@le, Giacomo Ruaro from Costabissara (VI) with Roland for the category fantasy.

The young winner of the Prize Montagnav(v)entura 11-15 is Micol Gaspari from S. Ambrogio di Valpollicella (VR) with Fotografia di un’avventura.

Besides the four official winners, the jury has recognized the value of other eleven stories, four in the 16-26 category and seven in the 11-15 category, which have been reported as the best among more than 140 received.

The most voted story on the web is Il segreto di Francesca written by Victor Caviglia from Quiliano (SV). His prize is a day in the mountains with a sportsman of the Salewa team.

The Aquila Studens awards for the two best thesis have also been assigned: to Francesca Cavaliere for her thesis on the model characters of the mountain novels, and to Chiara Fontanari for her thesis on the figure of the mountain guide.

The jury has also wanted to honor the commitment of the first class of section E of the Istituto Nicolò d’Arco of Arco for the collective story La grande avventura del Monte Stivo, with a day of climbing approach with Salewa instructors.

The contest participants have taken part in the morning of April 29 to the Itinerant story, a walk in the company of Enrico Brizzi, that this year has taken place on the historical trail of San Vili (San Vigilio).

The winners have received the awards during the ceremony on April 29 at Casa ITAS, chaired by Enrico Brizzi, President of the jury of the ITAS Prize. Read the complete report.

To promote the dissemination of the stories even after the award ceremony, ITAS has introduced a specific initiative: L'avventura dell'altezza, an ebook that contains 24 short stories selected from over 140 submitted to Montagnav(v)entura. It is available as a free download from the site www.premioitas.it.
