479 m
The Monte Baone is a small mountain which is located near Arco, whose top is just over 480 m, and which offers some interesting opportunities for climbing.
Despite the relatively low altitude, from the top you can enjoy a great view of Monte Colodri, the Rocca di Arco, and its surroundings, but the view extends to Lake Garda:
The southern slope is characterized by limestone slabs:
On the left area of the slabs, called Attimo Fuggente, there are some climbing routes, a hundred meters long, equipped with bolts, of low difficulty, for grip-like climbing.
On the right sector, called Onduline, there is a climbing wall with some single-pitch and some multi-pitch climbing routes. The wall is equipped for climbing by blind people.
From the spur on the east side of the mountain starts a route, which is a mix of trail and climbing, that goes up to the top, called Via del 92mo Congresso.
Finally, on the east side of the spur, there is a climbing wall called Bus de la Stria.
All these routes are described on trekking-etc.
