Altitude: 299 m
The monument was erected during the Fascist period, designed by Ettore Fagiuoli in 1935 and opened on May 26 of that year, with the translation of the Heroe from the cemetery of Trento. It is based on a circular base on which there is a porch, consisting of sixteen columns in pale stone, which contains a symbolic altar in porphyr on which is written "July 12, 1916" and "Cesare Battisti".
Inside the circular structure, on the entablature, is the epigraph "A Cesare Battisti che preparò a Trento l'unione alla Patria ed i nuovi destini", by Giuseppe Gerola. The basement contains a crypt where are collected the remains of the martyr and a bust of white marble, made by Eraldo Fozzer.
