An itinerary for everyone, easy and with nice views. You can reach one of the classic refuges of the Rosengarten / Catinaccio. Path and shelter are pretty crowded during peak periods.

Access

About 1500 m to the west of the Karerpass is the valley station of the chairlift to Rifugio Paolina. You can leave your car in the parking lot nearby.

Route

From the mountain station of the chair lift, take the path 539:

You will reach soon enough the monument and the plate dedicated to Theodor Christomannos:

Continue along the path 549, until you reach the refuge.
