Access

You can park just above the village of Daunëi, quick to reach from Wolkenstein / Selva di Val Gardena:

Continue along the paved road, that you leave soon after, to continue on an easy trail that climbs fairly gently to the shelter:

In about half an hour you reach it:

You can admire the Odle, on the north, the Group of Langkofel / Sassolungo, on the south, the bastion of the plateau of Stevia, and a part of Sellagruppe / Sella Group:
