from South
Cima Bocche, 2745 m, is the main peak of the group of mountains of the same name. The suggested tour reaches the summit from the south; it is not difficult and generally safe.
The views are spectacular all around, including many of the most beautiful Dolomite groups.
From Predazzo in Val di Fiemme, you follow the signs for Passo Rolle. Beyond the visitor center of the Paneveggio Park, at a junction, you take the road to the left, towards Passo Valles. You drive up to 1625 m altitude, where, on the left, comes off a forest road. That is the place to park.
You go up along the forest road and follow the signs for Malga Bocche
At a first fork you turn right
and the same at the following one
Continuing, you get out of the woods near the pastures of Malga Bocche. You can see it in the upper left direction
You go on straight, overcoming a wooded section
and then you reach the open ground again
on the wide ridge that descends from the top. You follow it for a long stretch, going up freely
on a variously steep slope, until you reach the small crucifix located on the summit
You can enjoy a wonderful view all around
Along the ascent route. The width of the ridge allows you to go freely, down to the wooded section.
